Sources included 2001 Statistics Canada Census data on trends in employment and self-employment, a 2005 survey of 3000 Quebec Anglophones conducted by CROP for the Community Health and Social Services Network, the Jedweb-YES Survey examining entrepreneurs and job-seekers, and a commissioned poll by Leger Marketing to understand barriers to starting a business.
